  • 5.0 out of 5 stars Secondary Solutions to the Rescue! March 30, 2009 By over and under (Amazon Verified Purchase, from Amazon.com) Kristen Bowers rocks. Period. Here's a high school teacher that thought she could put out better resources for literature teachers and, boy, did she pull it off. Not only do her teaching supplements draw students deeper into the subtleties of literature, but they address many aspects of writing and language that sometime go overlooked. There's more here than you'll ever need, but the abundance is comforting; it's there if you ever find yourself lacking in time or preparation. I can't say enough about Secondary Solutions. If you want excellent resources, look no further than this brave upstart.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fahrenheit 451 Guide January 10, 2012 By Lost In Kansas VINE™ VOICE (Amazon Verified Purchase, Amazon.com) I am teaching Fahrenheit 451 for the first time in a number of years. I purchased this guide because it was Common Core aligned. I am pleased with the variety of activities. The research activites allowed me to keep the fast readers engaged while I workled with my slower readers. Many teaching units I have purchased in the past were stuffed with worksheets that i ened up pitching out. I can use everything in this one.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good for the higher-end students in classroom August 24, 2012 By petite mommy (Amazon Verified Purchase, Amazon.com) Teaching in an inclusion 9th grade English class, I needed something challenging for the students who had post-high school comprehension levels. This did the trick. Just challenging enough for them to practice critical thinking skills and discussion skills on their own or in groups, it was a good resource to draw from.
